Ice Cream In A Bag!

Here is what you will need to make homemade ice cream in a bag:

2 TBL sugar
1 cup half & half (or light cream)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup coarse salt or table salt(I used canning salt)
ice
gallon-sized Ziploc bag
pint-sized Ziploc bag

Birthday!

Yesterday I turned 23 years old! Ahhhhhhhhh I feel so old! I had such a great Birthday! My husband was so cute to get up early & to make me a yummy breakfast! Thinking Trevor would be off to work after breakfast... BUT then surprised me by taking the whole day off work, to take me birthday shopping & out to lunch. So After a full day of shopping we went to eat lunch at L&L Hawaiian BBQ Grill:) The food was so good! But we ate so fast & got so full that we changed our plans and went home to take a nap, that was very much needed:)After our nap we weren't feeling very hungry but Trevor still wanted to take me out for a birthday dinner. We got our food and realized we were not going to eat any of it:) we were still so full for lunch. Ha Ha! After dinner Trevor had planned to go pick me up an ice cream cake... since ice cream is my favorite! I told Trevor I was so full I don't think I could even look at ice cream... & Trevor even agreed! Trevor still wanted to sing to me so he went & got me a bunch of my favorite candy & sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY:) Here are a few pictures of us on my birthday.

Lunch at L&L

Hair Cutting Class

My boss at Artisan Salon put together an amazing hair cutting technique class for all the stylist at the salon. The class was taught by a girl named Jenny Rey from the Prive Salon in Miami. Jenny Rey has worked with clients such as Mickey Rourke, Chris Hournbrook from Poison The Well, and Darren Brass from Miami Ink. She's worked at New York Fashion Week for Heatherette, Mercedes Swimsuit Week, Miami Fashion Week, Ocean Drive Magazine, Map Magazine, and more! The class was so well taught, & I learned so much from it. After the class we all went out to eat at Rodizio Grill.

My dad moved to Atlanta recently for his new job. Its going to be a weird change, but I am grateful my dad got a job! Atlanta, be good to my dad:) Also Trevor pointed out that we now have a NFL football team to root for... GO ATLANTA FALCONS:)
