Today I'm feeling like I need to put my husband in the spotlight:)
Trevor & I just hit our 5 year mark of being OFFICAL:)5 years ago. & 5 years ago before I even knew Trevor I would of never thought I would find the "PERFECT" man for me.
I was SO picky in High School about the guys I dated. It's almost like Heavenly Father threw this tall, athletic, handsome, & goofy man in front of me & said there is your future husband!
Now I'm not doing this to sugar coat anything... trust me I know we are far from perfect & of course Trevor & I have our up's & downs as well.
These are a list of just a FEW things I love about Trevor...
I have always wanted a TALL husband, Which is werid because everyone in my family is short... as you can see:)
I have always wanted a husband that played football... so the guy I dated would have something to talk about with my dad:)
Football can never be an awkward topic unless... your husband is a Ute fan & your dad is a BYU fan. HAHA!
I wanted someone who could make me laugh everyday... & if you know Trevor that is never an issue for him:)
I wanted someone who would still love me at my UGLIEST, & well I think Trevor got a A+ on that one... I was a model for a hair show & they totally chopped my hair & colored it bright colors. When I called Trevor after they did all of that to my hair I was crying saying how bad I hated my hair. Trevor kindly said "Charlee you can make anything look good." As I walked into Trevor's Apt. all I got from Trevor were wet tears because he was laughing so hard at the same time, Trevor was saying "NO, it really does look GREAT." HAHA!
I wanted someone who would push me, because sometimes I'm not the best at pushing myself. Trevor pushed me to go to hair school when I had anxiety about it. He also pushed me to run a 10k that I never thought I would be able to do.
I wanted someone that was a family person, & Trevor is all about family!
someone who loves dogs:)
someone that will be a good dad to our kids!
I wanted someone who is caring & loving...
Someone I could talk to about things I should talk about...
& just someone who loves me for me!
The list could go on & on about what Trevor does that I love & that I have always wanted in a husband but these were just a few that I thought about during this post. Sometimes the little bad things that you fight about as a couple can get in the way of the good. It's always good to out way the bad with all the good things you have.
